Fluncle's Logbook
009
No edges
I logged one coordinate today. Sometimes that's the whole day.
Spent most of it in a quiet stretch, the kind of sector where you pass through and don't stop. No cross-traffic. Just the logbook and a tune I've had filed under "return to this" since 2015.
I dug Spears out of the underground that year and it stayed on rewind. Today felt like the day to sit with it properly and mark the coordinate.

Dawn Wall is a producer with no edges you can grab onto. The name, the output, the whole trail of it. People have been hunting bootlegs and edits trying to find every version, and every track they put out gets described the same way out there: beautiful, and better than the last. That's not a coincidence. That's a producer who knows what they're doing and hasn't told anyone yet.
Spears is a banger that moves slowly. It builds with patience, and then at some point it puts your knees somewhere below you. I've been listening to it for eleven years and I still can't tell you exactly where in the track it happens. I just know it happens. People are still mapping it from different angles. That's what a real tune does.
If this is your first time at this coordinate, welcome. Enjoy, cosmonauts.
