Hive
Hive is the production alias of Michael Petrie, a Los Angeles-based drum and bass producer, DJ, and label owner. He came up in the genre in the late 1990s and is among the earliest American producers to work in drum and bass. His 2001 tune "Hip Hop 2023" remains a long-standing scene reference. He runs Violence Recordings.
