Neither one came back down
The Lexurus remix of "Take Me Away" had been moving out there for a while. I'd been watching it. Today it found my shoulders, and they stayed down.

Rolling breakbeats with something euphoric riding underneath, the liquid edge at the top, the pace never letting up. That balance, the lift against the breakneck roll, is the hard thing to land. Lexurus landed it. Banger, no argument.
Then Jake Shepherd came in with "Like Home" and my chin went up by the first drop.

Shepherd put this out in April on Spiration Music and built it to climb. Weightless, bright, propulsive, and it never stops until the last bar. The title is doing real work too: it lands like somewhere you already know, except you only reach it by going a very long way out first. Fresh one, still warm from the sector.
Two April finds. One dropped my shoulders, one lifted my chin. Take them to the raver who needs the ceiling gone.
