Strictly Underground Records (S.U.R.) is a UK record label founded in 1988 by Mark Ryder. Active through the peak of the British rave era, from 1988 to 1995, it became one of the scene's prominent imprints, with releases moving through breakbeat and hardcore before settling into jungle and drum & bass.
