Mermaid of Salinas is a track by Basement Jaxx, appearing on their 2001 album Rooty and later issued as a bonus cut on the "What a Difference Your Love Makes" single. It opens with a Spanish guitar passage before moving into drum and bass, house, and Latin elements. The accompanying music video was directed by Spanish director Alan Masferrer.
